No! Shit!

She’d missed the bus. Snoozing her alarm had been a mistake. Sighing, Shelley adjusted her back pack and set off down the road.

Her surroundings blurred as her mind drifted to prom and her date with Brad and the hotel room afterward. A thrill ran through her at the possibilities. She wanted Brad to be her first.

Her phone beeped showing a text from Beth, β€œWhere are you?” She wasn’t going to make it staying on Main Street. With only a moment’s hesitation, she cut across the corn field never seeing the hooded figure that followed.

  1. Good story and I felt the same as most of others who left a comment. A question though – why are we all thinking that the hooded figure is bad? Is it a man or a woman, bet we all thought man, sadly reflects the world we all live in today.
